Biography:
May Cheh
manages and oversees the Lister Hill Center's informatics training activities
encompassing intramural training of persons from all levels of
career development, including high school, college and graduate
students, postdoctoral
fellows, visiting faculty and other visiting researchers. She
is a coordinator of the NIH Clinical Elective in Medical Informatics
for third and fourth year medical and dental students. She
coordinates the NLM Summer Rotation for trainees from NLM Training
Grant Programs. Information about these programs may be found

May leads the Genetics Home Reference (GHR) Project which develops and maintains
the NLM’s web site for consumer information about genetic conditions and the
genes or chromosomes related to those conditions. Genetics Home Reference
provides consumer-friendly information about the effects of genetic variations
on human health and is available at http://ghr.nlm.nih.gov.
Ms. Cheh earned a bachelor's
degree in chemistry at the University of California
at Berkeley, and a master's degree in computer science at
American University.
