Program Description

The Biomedical Informatics Postdoctoral Research Fellowships component of the Biomedical Informatics Training Program at the Lister Hill National Center for Biomedical Communications provides training and research opportunities to recent MDs and PhDs, with the goal of producing future leaders in biomedical informatics research. Participants interact and work with LHNCBC research staff preceptors and have the opportunity to make significant contributions to their fields. The FAQs include information about the lecture series that fellows can attend.

Appointments are for one year and are renewable for an additional year upon recommendation of LHNCBC and availability of funds. Recipients receive stipends, which can vary depending on degree and experience.
