Expertise and Research Interests: 

In June 2014, Fabrício Kury, MD joined the Lister Hill National Center for Biomedical Communications (LHNCBC) and the Laboratory for Informatics Development at the NIH Clinical Center. Dr. Kury received his MD degree from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) in April 2014. He spent a Clinical Elective period with us at the Lister Hill Center in November 2013 working with Computer-Interpretable Guidelines and Natural Language Processing (NLP) using the MIMIC-II database as grist. His current projects are focused on Clinical Research Informatics and Discovery in Clinical Databases. His mentor is James J. Cimino, MD.
