CCOI conducts a series of monthly workshops and webinars to promote information sharing and enhance understanding of clinical data for CCOI provided Dataset Profiles. These events are presented in partnership with clinical data experts.

CCOI workshops are multi-day events featuring a combination of informational and interactive sessions. The workshops explore clinical data and how the data may be used with hands-on sessions to provide detailed information on data collection and format as well as how to access the data. The workshops will also share firsthand examples of data use for research studies on different topics, which may inspire data use for further research. The workshops will be conducted in collaboration with dataset providers.

CCOI webinars are brief informational sessions, usually 1-2 hours. The webinars explore individual datasets or data repositories. Specifically, webinars provide an overview about the dataset, how they were developed, and how they can be accessed and used for research. Webinar sessions are usually led by a representative from the data source who knows the inner workings of the dataset or platform.
