Abstract:
Mobile devices now comprise about 30% of PubMed for Handhelds server queries. In 2011, average peak server use occurred between 8AM and 6PM EST, peaking on Wednesdays of the week. Queries from US and non-US locations are almost equal. With more than 93% of queries of clinical in nature, most searches correspond to clinical hours in the continental US. Among search tools, PICO (45%) was the most used, followed by Clinical Queries (39%) then askMEDLINE (16%).
