Abstract:
A standardized set of terminology wasdeveloped from submissions of members of thehealth informatics and medical communities inthe Philippines of clinical terms from patient-healthcareprovider clinical encounters. Thesevocabularies will be used in OpenMRS, anopen-source electronic health record to bedeployed in rural health clinics. This will alsoserve as a model for a translating MeSH termsto non-English terms for searching MEDLINElike BabelMeSH, a multilanguage search tool.
