Dr. Rodriguez is a Staff Scientist with the Computer Science Branch of the Lister Hill National Center for Biomedical Communications, NLM. She is a researcher with interest in Medical Vocabulary, Standards, and Datamining of large clinical datasets. She focuses on data integration, standarization, and preparation for clinical information extraction to provide clinicians with proper information at the point of care.
Dr. Rodriguez is an Obstetrician Gynecologist with more than 15 years of clinical practice, she is a specialist in Maternal Fetal Medicine with experience in invasive prenatal diagnosis. She earned her PhD degree from the Department of Biomedical Informatics at the University of Utah. Her doctoral dissertation work focused on Datamining Techniques for Prediction of Pregnancy Adverse Event.
